Begin your day with some good breakfast at the houseboat/hotel and then head for exploring the famous attractions of Srinagar. First, our representative will take you to the mesmerizing Shalimar Bagh which dates back to 1619 and was built by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. It is an amazing garden with a variety of flowers and trees, fountains and beautiful architecture. Next on the list is Chashme Shahi, another mesmerizing garden built under the aegis of the Mughals.Its terrace garden is a top attraction apart from the lovely pools of water, walkways, and vibrant plants.Then we will take you for a visit to the Hazratbal Shrine which is home to a relic called Moi-e-Muqqadas. According to the legends, this relic is the sacred hair of Prophet Muhammad’s beard. Post this, our representative will drive you back to the hotel/houseboat. Remaining day at leisure. Post breakfast, we will embark on the journey to Pahalgam to explore its popular attractions. On the way, you will get to see saffron fields which during the season bloom with purple flowers. It is a picture-perfect sight! Then we reach the first attraction of the Pahalgam tour, i.e. the fascinating Betaab Valley named after the famous Bollywood movie Betaab which was shot here. It is a picture-perfect destination with lush greenery, majestic mountains, amazing meadows, lovely streams and much more. This valley is also traversed by the beautiful Lidder River. After enjoying the charm of Betaab Valley, we will drive to Chandanwari (7 km). It is a delightful valley located at an altitude of 2,895 m. It is also a starting point for the famous pilgrimage of the Hindus, Amarnath Yatra. It gets covered in snow from November to May and offers breathtaking views of glaciers melting away into River Lidder. One can enjoy sledding here.Our last destination for the day is the alluring Aru Valley perched at an altitude of 2,414m. Rejuvenate your senses with its sheer natural beauty encompassing snow-capped mountains, bewitching lakes, gorgeous meadows, etc. One can also enjoy horse riding here. During winter, this valley serves as a perfect destination for enjoying skiing and heli-skiing. It also serves as a base camp for trekking tours to Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake.In the evening, head back to Srinagar and enjoy a good night’s sleep in the hotel/houseboat.
